(AP) - Plaintiffs in a lawsuit trying to boot Tea Party of Nevada candidate Scott Ashjian from the November ballot have filed an appeal with the Nevada Supreme Court.
The appeal comes a day after a judge in Carson dismissed the suit filed by Dan Burdish and others. District Judge James Wilson ruled the deadline for challenging candidates expired months ago. Ashjian is running for the U.S. Senate.
