Joe Brindle, 28, passed away Sept. 5, 2010 in Reno. Joe was born Aug. 16, 1982 in Fontana, Calif., to Anthony and Jennifer Brindle.

He was always a happy kid, he loved Ninja Turtles, sharks, video games and skateboarding. He started skating at age 12, after that he was hooked.

As a young man, Joe was a free spirit and a free thinker; his love of music, the band he played in, his friends and family and also his work meant the most to him. He lived his life to the fullest in each moment.

His love of music inspired him to become lead singer in the band "Suffer the Ritual," leaving behind his bandmates Eric Mathews (guitarist), Erik Achenbach (drummer), Alex Staffen (guitarist), and Mike Moore (bass guitarist). Joe will be greatly missed by the band, his skateboarding friends Micah, Johnny, Jordan and Ricky, along with an "army" of other friends.

Joe will be missed beyond belief by his parents, Anthony and Jennifer, who loved him so very much. He was also dearly loved by his brothers Tyler, Austin and Tommy; sister, Melissa; his grandparents, Joe and Rose Mello; uncles Michael, Eric and Brian; and aunts Sharon, Teresa, Karen, Becky and Nancy.

A visitation will be held 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 16 at Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Carson City.

Following the visitation there will be a Celebration of Life gathering at 1321 Porter Dr., Minden, starting at 5 p.m.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley has been entrusted with his final arrangements.
