He plans on attending UNR or another West Coast college with the goal of attending medical school. Andrew is actively involved in National Honor Society, Science Bowl, Science Olympiad, Academic Team, JV basketball, football and track.
He also is a math department tutor, and is the president of Youth Ministry at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Community. We are proud to have Andrew at CHS.

Community is key to continuing programs at Carson High School.
Did you know that Safe Grad and the Carson High School Craft Fair are programs that are made possible by the Parent-Teacher-Student Association? Every year, the Carson High School PTSA raises and donates thousands of dollars for clubs and activities at the school.
Safe Grad alone spent over $30,000 last year for activities designed to keep Carson City students safe and sober while they celebrate and begin their transition into adulthood.
Yet, what PTSA needs most right now is not money, but your time. Without volunteers, these programs are in peril of going away.
Carson High School PTSA is looking for leaders and helpers. You do not need to have a child attending Carson High School to become involved with PTSA programs. PTSA is open to all ages, genders and backgrounds. You just need a heart for this community. Without your time, these programs may not be around much longer.
Get involved now. Planning for these upcoming programs and events occurs throughout the year. Carson High School PTSA is online at carsonhigh.com/carsonhi/new/ptsa or follow us on Facebook Carson High School PTSA page. Sign up at the Carson High School open house on Sept. 15, or contact Laura Bird 841-6450.
Carson High School has several approved fundraisers going on. We appreciate all of your support.
We will attempt to update the community with all school fundraisers. Please call 283-1600, if you have a question regarding a fundraiser.
