KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) - San Francisco tight end Vernon Davis is predicting victory over Kansas City on Sunday.
Speaking with Kansas City reporters via conference call on Wednesday, Davis was asked if this was a "must" game for the winless 49ers.
He says every game is a "must" game. "We have to win this one," he said. "We will win this one. I'm pretty confident and sure that we will pull this one out."
Asked if he was guaranteeing victory, Davis replied, "Yeah, like I said, we will win this game."
He was then asked why he was so confident.
"Because, like I said before, we have the team to do it. We have the team to do it. We've just got to get rid of all the mistakes. Without the mistakes, I mean, there's no telling where we can go. There's no limit."
