Say Design and Eagle World Media conducted a site visit to Carson City this week to see where they might fit into the city's plans for the downtown City Center Project.

"One objective of the foundation is to create career opportunities for the citizens and youth of Carson City. We don't want our kids to leave Carson for good jobs," said Steve Neighbors, trustee of the Hop and Mae Adams Foundation and Nugget president. "Working in partnership with the Northern Nevada Development Authority, we have recruited folks from Say Design and Eagle World Media to give serious consideration to locating business right here in Carson City."

Say Design is an online game and application developer based in Aliso Viejo, Calif. Eagle World Media is a media developer and distributor in the Los Angeles area.

Paul Siegel, president of Eagle World Media, said that with the explosion of the digital media industry, there is room to grow in Carson City.

"We see the bones for great strength in Nevada's capital. We also understand the force of today's diminished economic opportunities. It's tough nationwide, but those communities who organize the way Carson City ... have definitely are better positioned for quicker and more sustainable recovery," Siegel said in a statement.
