RENO (AP) - State Senate Minority Leader Bill Raggio is recovering from back surgery.
The 83-year-old Republican had the operation to fix a herniated disk in his lower back a week ago. He told a Reno newspaper on Wednesday he is still a "little sore," but is doing well while recuperating at his Reno home.
Raggio says he's not supposed to do anything for another week but expects to be ready for the 2011 session of the Legislature that begins in February.
