(AP) - Organizers of the Nevada Day Parade have picked a fitting grand marshal for this year's theme celebrating 100 years of flight in Nevada.

He's Dick Rutan, one of the two pilots who made the first nonstop, non-refueled flight around the world in his experimental Voyager aircraft in 1986.

Rutan and Jeana Yeager landed safely at Edwards Air Force Base in California.

The 72nd annual parade in Carson City begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 30.
