The cause of a fire Wednesday night that destroyed a single-wide mobile home in Silver Springs remains under investigation.
Central Lyon County Fire Chief John Gillenwater said crews were called out to 2810 Winnemucca Street just after 8 p.m.
When firefighters arrived there were two out buildings ablaze and six percent of the single-wide mobile on fire. Crews were able to save half the trailer but the outbuildings were lost.
Gillenwater said there were reports that propane tanks exploded, but it is unclear if the tanks exploded before or after the fire started.
The State Fire Marshal's office is handling the investigation.
No one was injured in the blaze.
A family of three is being helped by the Red Cross said Gillenwater.
