Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 20-year-old auto dealer from Carson City was arrested at 8:41 p.m. Friday in the 1500 block of Lindsay Lane on suspicion of two counts of misdemeanor contempt of court. Bail was set at $1,000.

• A 39-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 8:15 a.m. Saturday in the 1000 block of East Telegraph Street on suspicion of misdemeanor contempt of court. Bail was set at $292.

• A 28-year-old cook from Truckee was arrested at 11:04 a.m. Saturday in the 2200 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor reckless driving, driving without a license, possession of drug paraphernalia, drunken driving and having an open container of alcohol in the vehicle. Bail was set at $3,190.

• A 35-year-old landscaper from Washoe County was arrested at 5:15 p.m. Saturday in the 4800 block of Old Highway 395 on suspicion of misdemeanor violation of a protection order. Bail was set at $3,132.

• A 21-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 12:17 p.m. Sunday in the 3300 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear on a traffic citation.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• Report of prowlers with flashlights walking around a home on Sonoma Street at 2:40 a.m.

• Report of mail ripped open and lying on the ground on Kingsley Lane at 11:56 a.m.

• A woman on Fieldcrest reported at 3:48 p.m. when she returned home from a walk someone had entered her unlocked front door and stole her purse and a safe containing important papers.

• A man in the 2700 block of North Carson Street reported at 4:35 p.m. that his ex-girlfriend punched him in the face and broke his windshield.

• Coroner call in the 3000 block of North Ormsby Boulevard at 7:07 p.m.

• Report of shots fired in the 700 block of Silver Oak Drive at 11:35 p.m.

• Report of an "irate man" in the lobby of a check cashing business making threats and hitting the window. The caller reported the man was also writing "cuss words" on Post-It Notes and handing them to the teller. When police arrived, the man said he was upset and hit the window because the teller was offering him $15 for a cell phone he was selling which he thought it was worth $25. The reason he was writing the notes was because he was deaf, the report states. The man was trespassed from the business.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• Arrest at 1:53 p.m. on Six Mile Canyon Road.
