Sierra Development Co. of Reno will sell its Cal Neva Sportsbook Division to a British firm William Hill PLC for $21 million plus $1.5 million if performance goals are met in the next year.
Sierra Development Co., owns the sports and race books inside the Carson Nugget, Bodines and the Gold Dust West in Carson City.
Cal Neva Sportsbook, which operates 31 locations and employs 120, generated revenues of $10.7 million last year.
William Hill PLC also will acquire American Wagering Inc., operator of the Leroy's sports books.
