Sheila Taormina will be at the Carson City Aquatic Facility from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday teaching a swim clinic. Taormina has competed in four Olympics, winning gold in swimming, and was a world champion triathlete.
Her clinic is for swimmers or triathletes looking to improve on their swim stroke and learn dry land exercises to improve strength in the water. The end of the clinic will conclude with a video stroke analysis. She also will provide her book, "Call the Suit," for those participating in the clinic.
This clinic is being hosted by local long-time triathlon and fitness coach, Ray Henderson. Henderson has been coaching triathletes for 11 years and has been training people in other disciplines for 20 years. He coaches online and in person, and has clients from California to New York.
