Tracy Morris, a 2009 graduate of Carson High School, recently was awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the Dorothy and Walter W. Ross Memorial Exemplar Scholarship Fund of Beta Sigma Phi.
Tracy was sponsored for the scholarship by Xi Omega Chapter of Carson City, of which her mother, Lucy Adams, is a member.
Beta Sigma Phi is the world's largest women's organization of its kind with 180,000 members in 20 countries around the world.
Tracy is currently studying baking & pastry arts at Johnson & Wales in Providence, R.I.
