The annual Entrepreneur Expo, one of the signature events of Nevada's Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology, is set for Sept. 16. The sixth annual expo will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Atlantis Casino Resort.
More than 1,000 owners of small businesses and people who are interested in establishing a business are expected to attend. They'll visit with suppliers, professionals and government officials in the expo's 100 booths, and they'll learn management and sales skills during 12 seminars. Also scheduled is a funding roundtable sponsored by the Small Business Administration.
Attendance is free, but registration is requested through http://events.ncet.org/expo_north. The Web site also includes information about booths and sponsorship opportunities.
Sponsors include Charter Business, Noble Studios, Bosma Group, ABBI Public Relations, Northern Nevada Business Weekly, KNPB, KOH, Allegra Print and Imaging, Reno-Sparks Chamber of Commerce, the Atlantis, Watson and Rounds, Jeff Ross Photography, iMed Design and the Nevada Commission on Economic Development.
