Buster Blue films live local concert

American folk band Buster Blue is inviting Carson-area fans to be a part of an event: the filming of a live concert at Brewery Arts Center for a DVD. The concert starts at 8 p.m. Saturday in the Brewery's Performance Hall.

The Reno based band - all former Douglas High students - play all original songs to an assortment of instruments from the traditional to off-beat. Even a well-placed bucket can be put to musical use.

Band members are Brendon Lund (bass, chains - yes, chains - vocals); Bryan Jones (guitar, banjo, accordion, vocals, sax); Andrew Martin (guitar, banjo, keys, vocals); Rachel McElhiney (baritone saxophone, clarinet, accordion, vocals); and Jay Escamillo (drums, harmonica, vocals).
