Arrangements were made yesterday for Frank Golden, to be buried as exalted ruler of the Elks. The club will escort the body after high mass at St. Thomas Church. The V. & T. will have a special train that will take the funeral party to Carson for interment.

Raby J. Newton, air raid warden for Carson City today announced that warning districts in Carson City will correspond to the fire alarm districts. In case of emergency householders and businessmen will be contacted by the warden of the district. In District No. 1 - Jud Lamb, North Carson Street, Telephone 220 ... etc.

Carson's highly respected volunteer fire department will soon receive the very latest in fire engine equipment, a Pitman Snorkel Model Truck. The new equipment costs more than $40,000.
