Southern Gospel quartet to play at Good Shepherd Wesleyan Church Jan. 10

Popular Southern Gospel quartet, The Dixie Melody Boys, will be featured at the Good Shepherd Wesleyan Church at 7 p.m. Jan. 10.

Since their formation decades ago, the Kinston, N.C.-based quartet known as The Dixie Melody Boys has enjoyed tremendous success, including a Grammy nomination and numerous Fan Award nominations from "The Singing News Magazine," Southern Gospel music's leading fan and trade publication.

The quartet, led by 50-year veteran and recent Southern Gospel Music Hall of Fame inductee, Ed O'Neal, has enjoyed more than 20 Top 40 hits, including eight Top 10 releases and a No. 1 single. The quartet's goal is to delive a first-class performance, filled with excitement, energy and lots of traditional, Southern Gospel music.
