State Sen. Mike McGinness and his wife, Dee, were involved in a two-car accident in Fallon on Tuesday.
McGinness and his wife, who was in the passenger seat, both suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene.
The driver of the other car, George Agee, was taken to Banner Churchill Community Hospital, released and then arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. He later made bail.
Churchill County Sheriff Ben Trotter said Agee, who is from Fallon, was driving a Jeep, ran a stop sign and was T-boned by McGinness' Ford Expedition.
Trotter said Agee's vehicle rolled on its side and firemen from the Fallon/Churchill Volunteer Fire Department had to extricate Agee and his son, a passenger, from the Jeep, according to the accident report.
