OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Kevin Durant made a 3-pointer from the right wing as time expired and finished with 30 points to lift the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 101-98 win against the New York Knicks on Saturday night.
Durant was tightly guarded by Danilo Gallinari but connected while leaning back in front of the Knicks bench, extending New York's losing streak to six games.
The Thunder hadn't led since the first 2 minutes of the second quarter, but erased a six-point deficit in the final 3 minutes to escape their first three-game losing streak of the season.
Gallinari scored 23 points and Amare Stoudemire had 18 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Knicks.
Hornets 96, Spurs 72
NEW ORLEANS (AP) - David West had 18 points and 10 rebounds, helping New Orleans earn its eighth consecutive victory and end San Antonio's eight-game winning streak.
One night after winning by 41 at Atlanta, the Hornets led by as many as 31 against a Spurs team that has the NBA's best record (37-7), but which also has lost twice to New Orleans (29-16).
Marcus Thornton and Trevor Ariza each hit all four 3-pointers they took as the Hornets set a season high with 12 3s. Thornton finished with 18 points and Ariza 15. Emeka Okafor added 12 rebounds and five blocks.
Tony Parker's 10 points made him the only double-digit scorer among the Spurs starters, who spent much of the second half on the bench.
Wizards 85, Celtics 83
WASHINGTON (AP) - John Wall banked in a 3-pointer with the shot clock running down in the game's final minute, and Washington rallied from a 16-point, first-quarter deficit to get the surprising victory.
Wall's fast-break layup with 2:35 to play gave the Wizards their first lead, and after the Celtics tied it, Wall made his team's only 3-pointer of the game to put Washington ahead 84-81 with 58 seconds remaining.
Kevin Garnett converted a layup to pull Boston within one, and Rajon Rondo stole the ball from Wall. But Paul Pierce missed an 18-footer in the final seconds, and the Celtics' five-game winning streak ended.
Wall finished with 16 points, six rebounds and four assists for the Wizards, who improved to 13-9 at home to counter their 0-20 mark on the road.
Garnett had 17 points for the Celtics, who shot 68 percent in the first quarter but 33 percent for the rest of the game.
Heat 120, Raptors 103
MIAMI (AP) - LeBron James had 38 points and 11 rebounds, Mike Miller scored 22 of his 32 points in the second quarter, and the Heat snapped a four-game slide.
James Jones scored 15 and Eddie House added 13 for Miami, which played without Dwyane Wade (migraine) and Chris Bosh (left ankle sprain). The Heat led 32-17 after one quarter and 66-40 at the half, then held on after Toronto got within seven with 6:27 remaining.
DeMar DeRozan scored 30 and Andrea Bargnani added 28 for the Raptors, who wrapped an 0-5 road trip and dropped their seventh straight overall. Toronto had only nine players available for the game.
Mavericks 87, Nets 86
NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - Dirk Nowitzki hit a jumper in the lane with 6 seconds left and Dallas continued its dominance over New Jersey.
The Nets messed up their chance at a game-winning attempt, and Jordan Farmar was forced to toss up an off-balance shot that didn't come close to going in at the buzzer.
Nowitzki finished with 23 points on 7-of-24 shooting from the field. Tyson Chandler added 19 points for Dallas, which has won five in a row and 19 of 22 against New Jersey.
Brook Lopez had 24 points for New Jersey.
Magic 118, Rockets 104
HOUSTON (AP) - Dwight Howard had 22 points and 14 rebounds, Hedo Turkoglu added 21 points and Orlando built a big first-half lead on its way to the easy victory.
Jason Richardson hit four 3-pointers and scored 18 for the Magic, who went 13 for 32 from 3-point range. Orlando came in leading the league in 3-pointers made and attempted.
Chase Budinger scored 19 points and Kevin Martin added 18 to lead the Rockets, who shot 39 percent (37 of 95).
The Magic pulled away in the second quarter, and led 68-51 at the break.
Bulls 92, Cavaliers 79
CHICAGO (AP) - Derrick Rose scored 24 points, helping the Bulls extend the Cavaliers' losing streak to 16 games.
Cleveland (8-35) has also lost 20 straight on the road, one shy of the franchise record. The Cavs last won away from Quicken Loans Arena on Nov. 9, with a 93-91 victory over New Jersey. They haven't won anywhere since a home win over the Knicks on Dec. 18.
Carlos Boozer and Luol Deng scored 20 points apiece for Chicago, which blew most of a 20-point lead in the fourth quarter before pulling away again.
Boozer returned to the Chicago lineup after missing three games with a sprained left ankle. He was 8 for 18 from the floor and grabbed 10 rebounds.
Hawks 103, Bobcats 87
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - Joe Johnson scored 32 points and the undermanned but energized Hawks bounced back from a humiliating loss.
Josh Smith added 16 points for Atlanta, which was coming off a 100-59 home setback against New Orleans on Friday night.
Atlanta was without injured starters Al Horford (sprained right ankle) and Marvin Williams (back). Coach Larry Drew also suspended reserve Josh Powell from the game for conduct detrimental to the team.
D.J. Augustin scored 20 points for the Bobcats, who got little from slumping Stephen Jackson and Gerald Wallace as their two-game winning streak was snapped.
Johnson hit 12 of 18 shots and added five rebounds and five assists.
Trail Blazers 97, Pacers 92
PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Nicolas Batum hit four straight 3-pointers early in the fourth quarter and Portland erased a 16-point deficit in its fifth straight victory over Indiana.
LaMarcus Aldridge had 25 points and 12 rebounds for the Blazers, who have won five straight despite being beset by injuries. Batum, who hit 5 of 8 3-point attempts, had 23 points.
Danny Granger scored 24 points for the Pacers, who have lost four straight. James Posey's 3-pointer with 5.9 seconds left pulled Indiana within three, but Wesley Matthews hit a pair of free throws to clinch it.
The Blazers, already hurting because of the absence of injured star Brandon Roy, were without guard Andre Miller for most of the game. Miller left early in the first quarter because of gastroenteritis.
Pistons 75, Suns 74
AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) - Austin Daye made a go-ahead jumper with 53 seconds left and the Pistons snapped the Suns' five-game winning streak.
Tayshaun Prince led Detroit with 17 points, 13 rebounds and five assists. Will Bynum added 12 points.
Steve Nash had 14 points and nine assists, and Jared Dudley added 13 points for Phoenix. Marcin Gortat had 11 points and 14 rebounds.
76ers 96, Jazz 85
PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Andre Iguodala scored 22 points and Lou Williams added 20, leading Philadelphia to the victory.
Elton Brand added 19 for the Sixers, who snapped a two-game losing streak and won for the 12th time in the past 15 games at home. Spencer Hawes grabbed 11 rebounds.
Philadelphia also improved to 13-7 at home, eclipsing last season's 12-win total.
Deron Williams had 20 points and 14 assists for the Jazz (27-17), who dropped their fourth in a row on their five-game road trip. It's their longest skid in slightly more than a year.
The Jazz had won nine of the past 10 games against the Sixers.
Grizzlies 94, Bucks 81
MILWAUKEE (AP) - Marc Gasol had 24 points and 16 rebounds, and Zach Randolph set a franchise record with his 10th straight double-double for Memphis.
Randolph finished with 16 points and 11 rebounds as the Grizzlies continued their erratic ways after also beating Houston on Friday night. Memphis has eight winning streaks and seven losing streaks of at least two games this year.
Reserve Earl Boykins scored 23 points for Milwaukee, but the Bucks failed to extend their winning streak after beating Washington and Cleveland.
The Grizzlies seem their best when they keep attacking the paint. After a season-high 72 points in the paint against the Rockets, they had 56 against the short-handed Bucks.
