Carson Performing Arts will present William Shakespeare's "Love's Labour's Lost" one weekend only at the Carson Community Center's Bob Boldrick Theatre.
This version is set in the 1960s at the Woodstock music festival and tells the story of four men who have vowed to abstain from the ladies and devote themselves to studious pursuits. Upsetting their plans, enter four women with whom they quickly fall in love. Comic support from clownish servants and stuffy scholars is accompanied by the music from that festival. Featuring the advanced and drama lab students at CHS, the staging and the seating are all placed on the Bob Boldrick stage, so seating is limited per show.
The last shows is 2 p.m. today.
Tickets are $6 for children and CHS students, $7 for senior citizens and students and $8 general admission.
For more information or to reserve tickets, e-mail
