Obituary: Winifred B. Canoro

Winifred B. Canoro, 80, of Carson City, died June 30, 2011. She was born March 17,1931, in Montreal, Canada, to Alfred and Linda (Dairany) Shatilla. She is survived by son Fred Canoro of Manhattan, N.Y.; daughters Wendy Koch and Linda Demarco both of Carson City, Janet Giantinoto of Deer Park, N.Y., and Laura Dimaio of Coconut Creek, Fla; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Viewing will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday with vigil service at 7 p.m. at FitzHenry's Funeral Home. A committal service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Lone Mountain Cemetery. FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
