Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• A 28-year-old plumber from Reno was arrested at 2:20 a.m. Thursday at Fairview Drive and Idaho Street on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear on a traffic citation. Bail was set at $322.
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:
• Report Wednesday of a chain link fence cut in the 3500 block of Woodside Drive at 1:23 p.m.
• Report Wednesday of an 11-year-old child left home alone on Koontz Lane in a dirty house to care for 8 and 4 year old children from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. everyday.
• Report Wednesday at 8:31 p.m. of a man being held down at Highway 50 East and Nichols Lane after allegedly trying to steal a bicycle. An arrest was made.
• Report Tuesday of a home in the 4500 block of Hells Bells Road burglarized between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. The homeowner said old coins and a box of money was missing.
• Report Tuesday at 6:56 p.m. of jewelry stolen from a home on Merrit Drive between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Lyon County
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:
• Report at 1:23 p.m. of an intoxicated, suicidal man sitting in a vehicle outside a Kit Kat Drive business in Mound House.
• Misdemeanor arrest on Sunny Lane in Fernley at 2:42 a.m.
• Report at 8:08 a.m. of items missing from outside an Almond Drive business in Silver Springs.
Storey County
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:
• Report at 8:21 a.m. of fencing and ladders stolen from a business on USA Parkway.
• Report at 2:54 p.m. of a man in a gray shirt lying face down in the river at Canyon and Bridge way near Lockwood. Case belongs to Sparks Police Department.
• Report at 6:39 p.m. of a wild horse with a broken leg on Lousetown Road.
