Health Inspections

The following health inspections are for the period of Feb. 22:

• Feisty Goat Bar/Lounge, 1881 E. Long St., scored 100 points.

• The Schmidt House Bar/Lounge, 4750 Highway 50 East, scored 100 points.

The following health inspections are for the period of March 1-3:

• High Sierra Brewing Co. Inc. Restaurant Kitchen, 302 N. Carson St., scored 98 points. Found prepared cold chicken salad holding at 50 F. Found hot chicken and rice holding at 131-132 F. All other hot foods on the steam table are at proper temperatures.

• High Sierra Brewing Co. Inc. Restaurant Pizzaria, 302 N. Carson St., scored 100 points.

• High Sierra Brewing Co. Inc. Main Bar, 302 N. Carson St., scored 100 points.

• High Sierra Brewing Co. Inc. Brewery, 302 N. Carson St., scored 100 points.

• High Sierra Brewing Co. Inc. Bar/Lounge, 302 N. Carson St., scored 100 points.

• The Carson Cigar Co. Bar/Lounge, 318 N. Carson St., scored 100 points.

• McDonalds #7890 Restaurant, 3905 S. Carson St., scored 96 points. The thermometers on each of the cabinet freezers were broken and not working. The thermometer in the front counter refrigerator was broken and not working. The mechanical dish washing machine was not working at the time of this inspection and needs repair. The gasket in the four-door cooler was broken and needs repair or replacement. There was no thermometer in the four-door cooler. There was a hole in the ceiling tile above the french fry area exposing studs, joists or rafters.

• Starbucks Coffee #11274 Restaurant, 3325 Retail Dr. #200, scored 100 points.

• Villa Basque Deli Restaurant, 730 Basque Way, scored 100 points.

• Economy Wash 'N Dry Convenience Store, 207 Hot Springs Road, scored 100 points.

• Schat's Bakery Restaurant, 1212 S. Stewart St., scored 98 points. There was debris on the plastic shield inside of the ice machine and there was debris inside of the ice scoop bucket. This was corrected on the spot. There was some debris on the fan used to cool the rack of baked bread. This fan must be kept clean and free of debris.

• Schat's Bakery, 1212 S. Stewart St., scored 100 points.

• China Chef Restaurant, 3135 E. William St., scored 100 points.
