The First Tee of Northern Nevada is holding a summer golf registration drive Saturday at Michael Hohl GMC in Carson City., 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The free event includes putting, chipping, and short game activity stations. Michael Hohl GMC is providing food and beverage. Families who attend the event and register for a series of lessons in June will receive a special introductory rate of just $10.
June class sessions of
6-8 lessons will be held Mondays and Wednesdays at Dayton Valley, Tuesdays and Thursdays at Silver Oak, and Sunday afternoons at Empire Ranch.
The First Tee is open to youth ages 7-18, with classes for all ability levels. Equipment is provided and no family is ever turned away due to inability to pay.
