HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. (AP) - Charles Abouo scored 22 points and Noah Hartsock added 21 to lead BYU to a 76-55 victory against Nevada in the Chicago Invitational Challenge on Friday night.
Brandon Davies added 10 points for the Cougars (4-1).
Malik Story, Jerry Evans Jr. and Olek Czyz scored 11 points each for the Wolf Pack (3-3). Czyz had nine rebounds.
Nevada never recovered from a 4:29 scoreless stretch in the first half. Brock Zylstra's 3-pointer ignited a 16-0 BYU run in which Hartsock scored five points. The surge ended when a Davies free throw gave the Cougars a 24-6 lead.
Dario Hunt had 10 points for Nevada.
