Mile High Jazz Band presents Autumn Jazz, a program of big-band music with vocalist Sheryl Adams, on 8-10 p.m. Oct. 11 at Comma Coffee, 312 S. Carson St.
General admission is $5 at the door; free for age 18 and under. Dance instruction from 6-7:15 p.m. is $5 additional.
This performance is part of World Music Days, an annual global event affirming the ideals of tolerance, friendship, and shared humanity, inspired by the life and work of journalist and musician Daniel Pearl.
Mile High Jazz Band is funded, in part, by a grant from the Nevada Arts Council, a state agency, the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency, and Carson City.
