A Touch of Class is back for its 11th year. Featuring 25 crafters in an open no-booth format, the craft fair is located in the home of Sue and Bill Bennett, 1467 Glenwood Drive, in Gardnerville off Riverview and Highway 395.

Featuring hundreds of decorations, gifts, toys, children's items, feather hair ornaments, ceramics, cards, stained glass, admission is free, hourly door prizes, Visa and Mastercard welcome. The craft fair is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 14 and 15, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct 16.

First started as a way to meet people when the Bennetts first moved to Nevada, it is a family affair, with their daughter and granddaughter coming in from Spokane, Wash., to help for the last seven years. Kalah, 18, puts in for that time off from her job a year in advance.

"It's just a fun place to be, and we are very proud of our reputation as a quality show that is strictly juried and fairly priced" says Sue.

A Touch of Class is a proud supporter of Austin's House/ Carson Valley Children's Center. A percentage of all sales is donated to help children in Carson Valley who need a safe place to stay.
