Letters to the Editor Sept. 15

I'm a grandmother, and this past weekend I purchased popcorn from some local Carson City Cub Scouts, Pack 837. I must say, I was so impressed with how responsible and polite these young boys were.

It does bring memories back of my children, who were in Scouts over some 50+ years ago.

Scouting hasn't changed, and the Cub Scouts' motto hasn't, either: "Do Your Best."

They are our future generation. They are learning the value of serving others.

Good Job to the Scoutmasters, leaders and den mothers who are shaping the lives of these young boys.
