The Nevada Bar Association has passed a resolution that members of the Nevada Bar Association refuse to vouch for any attorney from another state seeking admission to the Bar of this state unless a member can attest to the attorney's character and qualifications who vouches for him.

The United States will no longer risk the lives of sailors so that civilians can have gas to go to the bridge party or ball game. The heads of five major governmental agencies announced gas rationing in the east 17 states May 15. Five gallons or less per family a week is to be used, down from a normal 12 gallons a week.

Gov. Grant Sawyer told newsmen yesterday political implications did not affect his decision to accompany five other American governors on a goodwill trip to Japan. President Kennedy, in a personal message, asked Sawyer to make the trip.
