Road Report

The following information applies to the period of Aug. 20-26:

Because of pavement maintenance, there will be a lane closure from Monday through Thursday in each direction on Carson Street between Musser and 7th streets.

There will be utility work in the shoulder of the eastbound lane of East 5th Street between Carson and Stewart streets during the day Monday through Friday.

Westbound traffic on Fifth Street will be unable to turn left onto Stewart, but detours will be in place.

There will be minimal traffic control along Fairview Drive between 5th Street and Edmonds Drive because of pathway paving along the east side of the road.

There will be nightly lane closures on US 395 from the junction of US 50W (Spooner) to 1st Street in Minden, Sunday through Thursday, between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. There will be flagger controlled traffic.

There will be work at the following locations as a result of the Freeway Landscaping Project. Traffic control may be in effect.

• North Carson Street, in the vicinity of the freeway overpass and on the northbound on ramp to the freeway.

• The southbound freeway and southbound off ramp at the North Carson Street Interchange.

• Highway 50 in the vicinity of the freeway.

• College Parkway in the vicinity of the freeway.

On Friday, 3rd Street will be closed between Carson Street and Curry Street from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., due to a special event.

On Saturday, the following closures will occur between 6 and 11 a.m. for a special event.

The outside southbound lane of Carson Street will be closed from Musser Street to 4th Street. Second, 3rd and 4th streets will all be closed between Carson and Curry Streets.
