A man wearing sunglasses and a bandana over his face robbed the AM-PM at Highway 50 and Lompa early Tuesday.
The bandit entered the store at 1 a.m. and threatened the clerk with a small pistol, ordering her to put the money in a nylon bag, then forcing her to lie on the floor while he fled.
He was described as a white male in his 20s, between 5-feet 9-and 6-feet-1 inches tall and between 160 and 180 pounds. He was wearing a black hoodie with a white stripe on each shoulder, blue jeans, a black shirt, sunglasses with a black and white bandana covering the rest of his face. He had on black shoes with a white stripe and white soles.
He was last seen running east from the store.
Sheriff Ken Furlong said deputies searched the area with dogs but were unable to find the suspect.
The Sheriff's Department asks anyone with information to contact Detective Doug Speegle at 887-2020.
