Gardnerville artist Teri Sweeney will be offering a three-day Drawing for Painting Workshop. The workshop will cover the basic principles of drawing, the grid system, drawing value shapes, one- and two-point perspective and drawing from life. This focused workshop includes drawing exercises and handouts to help students understand the concepts and use them in future drawings for paintings. Emphasis will be placed on simplifying the drawing process and will help any painter who has not had the opportunity to discover some of the "tricks" to creating a good drawing.
Sweeney is a nationally recognized Western Artist who has participated in numerous juried shows including the Western Masters Art Show and Sale in Great Falls, Mont.; Cowgirl Up!
