Pizza Factory of Carson City, 3120 E Highway 50 #3, scored 98 points. Blue cheese salad dressing was found at the salad bar at temperatures greater than 41 degrees. This was discarded on the spot. Time/temperature log may be used in the future to control the salad bar's potentially hazardous ingredients.

Dairy Queen of Carson City, 3198 E Highway 50, scored 96 points. Observed improper procedures used when washing/items utensils in the three compartment sink. Specifically the sanitation step was being skipped.

Little Caesars Pizza, 1217 S. Carson St., scored 97 points. There was no certified food handler present at the time of this inspection.

Schat's Bakery - restaurant, 1212 S. Stewart St., scored 99 points. The cloths used on food-contact surfaces were found in buckets of solution which did not contain sanitizer residual.

Thai Thai, 1300 S. Stewart St., scored 97 points. Food contact surfaces of some knives were not clean. Cleaning and maintenance tools were not properly stored. The mop bucket was found with dirty water in it. Empty mop bucket after use and hang mop.

La Bakery, 220 W. John St., scored 99 points. Wiping cloths for tables did not have adequate sanitizer in solution.

Shea's Daily Detour, 1263 S. Stewart St., scored 97 points. Eggs found stored above ready-to-eat food like vegetables in refrigerator. Wiping cloths did not have adequate sanitizer levels in solution.

Comstock Casino - bar and lounge, 3680 Goni Road, scored 98 points. Food contact surfaces of the speed gun holster were not clean. This was corrected on the spot.

Juan's Mexican Grill #2, 3680 Goni Road, scored 96 points. The fajita meat were found in the prep table. Refrigerator bins at temperatures greater than 41 degrees. An accurate metal stem thermometer was not readily available to check food temperatures. Non-food contact surfaces on the microwave oven were not clean. This was corrected on the spot.

Taco Bell #3, 4050 S. Carson St., scored 97 points. There was no certified food handler present at the time of this inspection.

Rand Ave. Convenience Store, 1800 E. Highway 50 #14, Follow-up Inspection. Confirmed the ants are cleaned up and the violation from the last inspection is corrected.

Bella Fiore Wines, 224 S. Carson St. #8, scored 100 points.

El Aguila Real, 3220 E Highway 50 #6, scored 96 points. A bag of onions was found on the floor and not correctly stored 6-inches above the floor. Food contact surfaces of the ice machine were not clean. Specifically a build-up of debris was found on the plastic ice drop shield inside the ice machine.
