Individual investors from Incline Village purchased a 41,700-square-foot industrial building in Carson City last week.
The building at 3675 Arrowhead Drive in the Eagle Valley Commerce Center is completely occupied by Chromalloy Nevada, whose headquarters are across the street.
William and Catherine Calvy paid $2.6 million for the property. They were represented by Carolyn Goff of Coldwell Banker Select.
The seller, Arrowhead Commerce Center LLC, is a unit of Panattoni Development Co. It developed the industrial project in 2006. It was represented by Andie Wilson and Brad Bonkowski with Coldwell Banker Commercial Premier Brokers.
Bonkowski said the sale is an indication that investors are returning to the market for industrial buildings.
At the same, he said, companies that are renting space are beginning take advantage of low prices and low interest rates to purchase industrial space.
