Thelma May Foskett, 87, of Dayton, fondly known as "Mum", passed away Sunday, May 6, 2012 at her home. She was born April 3, 1925 in Nassau, New Providence Bahamas to Charles and Minette (Monroe) Sweeting.
Mum and Dad celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary March 21, 2012 with a small gathering of friends at their home in Dayton. They met during WWII in Nassau. Mum completed cosmetology school living in Trinidad, West Indies for thirty-four years with her husband, where they raised their son, Allan, & daughter, Barbara.
After a year in Barbados, Mum and Dad retired to Atlanta, Georgia in 1985 to be near their family. They moved to Dayton in 2010.
Mum is survived by her husband, Eric; and daughter, Barbara Jones and Steve Williams of Dayton; son, Allan (Cindy) Foskett of Gladstone, Missouri; grandchildren, Eric Foskett, Amanda Jones, Matthew Jones, and Kimberly Foskett.
