Pauline (Polly) M. Nisbett Gallagher 91 of Minden, NV, passed away Saturday September 29, in Carson City, NV. Polly was born on March 7, 1921 in East Millinocket, Maine. Polly was a registered nurse in Maine, and Santa Monica, CA. Polly was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, William (Bill) Gallagher, whom she married Nov 25 1944 in East Millinocket, Maine. Polly and Bill moved to Venice, CA in 1958 from Portland, Maine. Polly loved going to the beach in Santa Monica. They enjoyed golfing and outings with family and friends. In 1989, after retirement they moved to Minden, NV (near Lake Tahoe), making new friends and enjoying entertainment at The Carson Valley Inn.She was a very loving, caring mother, grandmother, and friend to all who knew her. Surviving is a daughter, Sue (Jim) Wolfe off Belleville, IL. son Wm (Mickey) Gallagher of Venice CA. Her beloved grandchildren Heather Wolfe, Shawn (Deanna) Wolfe, Ryan Wolfe, Kyle Wolfe, Erik Wolfe, and Tori Gallagher. A memorial of her life will be celebrated by the family at a later date.
