Carson CityThe following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent unless proved guilty in court:SUNDAY• 8:15 p.m.: A 35-year-old Carson City woman was arrested at the Carson City Jail after turning herself in on a warrant for violating terms of a suspended sentence. Bail: $3,000.MONDAY• 1:04 a.m.: A 49-year-old Carson City woman was arrested in the 100 block of Harbin Street on two Carson City contempt-of-court warrants. Bail: $1,167.• 1:53 a.m.: Stephen Saunders, 30, of Carson City was arrested at Lompa Lane and Menlo Drive on charges of shoplifting burglary, violation of conditions, and resisting a public officer. Bail: $5,907.• 12:41 p.m.: A 40-year-old Loma Linda, Calif., man was arrested at South Carson and South Stewart streets on a Douglas County failure-to-appear traffic warrant. Bail: $535.• 3:55 p.m.: A 42-year-old Carson City man turned himself in at the sheriff’s office on a Carson City warrant. Bail: $2,500.• 7:10 p.m.: Moises Alvarez, 19, of Carson City was arrested in the 3000 block of Baker Drive on charges of battery and petit larceny. Bail: $1,479.• 9:04 p.m.: A 42-year-old man was arrested in the 500 block of Country Village Drive on a probation-violation warrant. Bail: $3,000.• 10:27 p.m.: Edward Cheney, 23, of Carson City was arrested at 4 Century Circle on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine and heroin) and on a Carson City violation-of-a-suspended-sentence warrant. Bail: $8,732.• 10:53 p.m.: Briseida Lamas Madera, 18, of Carson City was arrested at South Saliman Road and Sonoma Street on charges of DUI and failure to maintain a travel lane.
