Air conditioning contract
Quality Control Systems of Sparks won a contract worth $133,934 to furnish and install air conditioning units at the Nevada National Guard Joint Force Headquarters offices in Carson City. Quality Control Systems will remove an existing 30-ton unit and replace it with three units to control different zones at the facility.

Turnmire named senior transducer
Patrick Turnmire has been named senior transducer and systems designer at Wisdom Audio, a speaker manufacturer in Carson City.
A working musician, Turnmire has been the principal of Redrock Acoustics, a loudspeaker design company, for 27 years. He has worked 32 years as a transducer and system engineer.
He studied jazz at North Texas State University.
