The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent unless proved guilty in court:

WEDNESDAY

• 2:34 p.m.: A 41-year-old Carson City woman was arrested in the 400 block of East Park Street on suspicion of child neglect. Bail: $2,500.

• 4:44 p.m.: Harold Crince, 68, of Washoe Valley was arrested at the Carson City Sheriff’s Office on suspicion of battery domestic violence second offense within seven years. Bail: $5,132.

• 8:19 p.m.: Colton Banta, 20, of Carson City was arrested at the Carson City Sheriff’s Office on suspicion of battery domestic violence with priors. Banta allegedly grabbed a woman behind the neck and threw her onto their bed after she confronted him about consorting with another woman. According to the arrest report, he then got on top of her and hit her in the face. The woman attempted to run outside but Banta allegedly grabbed her by the hair and dragged her into the living room. The woman was taken to the sheriff’s office by a friend and treated by the fire department.
