As the racing calendar dwindles into the final months, the chase for a points title is running high.

Dave Sciarroni won the Saturday’ main event in the IMCA Sport Mods class and was followed by Zachary Cali, Paul Stephen and Pete Olsen.

Cali, meanwhile, holds a 15-point lead (271-256) over Olsen for first place. In third is Chris Neal (140) with Lee Ketten (139) and Tim Wearin and Duncan Lee (111) in fourth and fifth, respectively.

In the Gen-X main event, Dave Raber slipped past points leader Shawn Hartzell to capture the checkered flag. Kali Pope came in third followed by Steve Eisele and James Edwards.

Hartzell and Mikki Beauchat each won their respective preliminary heats, while Christy Rasmussen and James Edwards each took second. Hartzell sits atop the leaderboard with 293 points followed by Beauchat (287), Raber (282), Pope (278) and Eisele (276).

In the IMCA Modified class, Jake Holland took the top prize as he finished in front of Mike White, Jerry Crowley, Missy Natenstedt and Darren Manning. Crowley took the top spot in the prelim, while Holland placed second and White third.

Natenstedt leads the points chase with 240 with Crowley trailing by three. Steve Evenson sits in third with 173 followed by Mark Skender (167) and Holland (148).

Results and points standings for the Northern Nevada Outlaw Karts and Hobby Stock were not available. A protest was filed in the Hobby Stock division, while questions were raised about the points standings for the karts.
