Coldwell Banker launches training course

Coldwell Banker Select launched its Summer 2013 Select Success training course to provide training in listing promotion, luxury home marketing, client development, one-on-one mentoring and interactive industry discussion.

Twenty two new agents are enrolled in the eight-week program, working in Carson City, McCarran, Reno, Zephyr Cove, Incline Village and Sparks. Graduation from the course verifies the ability to exemplify the Coldwell Banker Select standard.

Web sessions are set to cover Affordable Care Act

The Small Business Administration and Small Business Majority will hold “Affordable Care Act 101” weekly webinar sessions to teach the basics of the Affordable Care Act and what it means for companies and employees.

The sessions will cover insurance reforms, the small business health care tax credit, the new health insurance marketplaces and employer shared responsibility provisions.

The Affordable Care Act 101 takes place Thursdays through the opening of the marketplaces in October. Registration is open for events at 2 p.m. Aug. 22; Sept. 5; Sept. 12; Sept. 19 and Sept. 26.
