The National Weather Service has put out a winter weather advisory for Northern Nevada from 10 p.m. this evening to 10 a.m. Saturday.
Snow accumulation is predicted to be 2-4 inches on the valley floors, the weather service said.
Up to six inches is possible above 5,000 feet.
