Lois Sylvia Gallina, beloved wife, sister, aunt and friend of Carson City who passed away unexpectedly at Carson Tahoe Hospital on November 27, 2013. She married Frank J. Gallina on August 3rd 1952 in Alameda, California, he preceded her in death in 1987. She was a loving wife and Frank meant the world to her. She lived in Alameda California until 1990 when she moved to Carson City, Nevada. She attended Porter Washington and Alameda High schools. She worked as a Women’s Ready to Wear retail salesperson for 20 years. She was a very avid bowler, loved afternoon lunches and window shopping. She spent many years traveling the United States almost visiting every state. She was a very active lady full of spirit, who was always on the go and very organized. She was very passionate at donating to any dog or animal charity or helping any animal in need. Lois was the daughter of the late Silve and Florence Digioia and her late sister Barbara Ristesund. She is survived by her sister Jeanette Morris. Her nieces and nephews, Teresa Karlsson, Hans Karlsson, Katrina Seevers, Brandon Seevers, Trey Seevers, Connor Seevers, Nick Ramirez and Quentin Ramirez. Her beloved dogs(children), Cookie and Taffy. She also leaves so many cousins, friends and loving neighbors. Celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 8 at 1pm to 4pm at Carson City Plaza - Sierra Room 801 S. Carson Street, Carson City. Family will be wearing blue in honor of Lois as that was her favorite color. Please feel free to join us in wearing blue in honor of her.
