Burn victims improving, bank accounts set up

Victims of two separate explosions are receiving treatment at the University of California, Davis burn center.

Daniel Snodgrass, who suffered burns to more than 50 percent of his body, was injured when a Monday morning blast rocked the Bango Oil plant west of Fallon.

According to a Facebook page following Snodgrass’ treatment, doctors were able to cover all of his burns in surgery. He had his first skin-graft surgery, and his family said they do not know if he will have a skin graft on his face. The family said doctors are trying to allow his facial burns to heal.

A donation account for Snodgrass has been set up at Wells Fargo Bank, account number 3439198858.

Trent Workman was taken to UC Davis on Sunday for burns he suffered while trying to re-ignite a furnace pilot light.

His girlfriend, Sarah Robertson, said Workman is improving and able to move his hands, but he remains in much pain.

An account for Workman has also been established at Wells Fargo, and the account number is 3459881995.

The explosion and fire destroyed everything, but concerns are for the immediate days and weeks for Workman and Robertson.

Clothing, cash donations, bedding, gift cards, etc., are needed at this time. Workman takes a size XXL in shirt and coat, 36-34 in trouser and size 9 shoe. Robertson takes a size medium blouse, female size 9 shoe and size 12 in jeans, etc.

An occupant of the third apartment cannot return to the dwelling, and his couch and love seat were ruined. He is also without some clothing and lost most of his trousers. His trouser size is 34x32, shirt size XL and shoes 11 1/2 to 12.
