Carson City road report for Dec. 16-22

The following applies to Monday through Dec. 22:

There will be lane closures at the following locations Monday through Friday. Traffic-control measures will be in effect. There also will be sidewalk closures, and detours will be signed.

Westbound Long Street between Roop and Marian streets.

Northbound Roop Street between Adams Street and Beverly Drive.

Northbound Roop Street near Corbett Street.

Westbound Corbett Street just east of Roop Street.

There will be utility work Monday through Friday at the northwest corner of the intersection of East Fifth Street and Saliman Road. As a result, the outside southbound lane on Saliman Road will be closed just north of the intersection, as well as the westbound bicycle lane on Fifth Street.

There will be intermittent lane closures with flagger-controlled traffic on Fifth Street between Saliman Road and the freeway overpass.

The following roads will be closed between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday due to utility work. Only local resident access will be allowed:

Mayflower Way between Nye and Sherman lanes.

Kit Sierra Way between Nye and Sherman lanes.

There will be utility work at the following locations.

The intersection of Hobart Road and Numaga Pass Road. There will be intermittent lane closures with flagger-controlled traffic.

The south side of East Fifth Street near Pasture Drive. No lane closures are expected.
