Carson City health inspections for Wednesday, Dec. 18

Following are the Carson City Health Department’s food-service inspections for Dec. 12. All scores are on a 100-point scale, with points deducted depending on the severity of violations:

Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar, 3300 S. Carson St., scored 100 points.

BPO Elks Lodge, food facility, 515 N. Nevada St., 100 points.

Brugo’s Pizza Co., 3228 N. Carson St., 100 points.

Bully’s, 3530 N. Carson St., 100 points.

Carson City Public Safety Complex, inmate kitchen, 885 E. Musser St., 100 points.

Gold Dust West, The Grille, 2171 U.S. Highway 50 E., 100 points.

IHOP, 3883 S. Carson St., 100 points.

Kentucky Fried Chicken, 2523 N. Carson St., 100 points.

The Lady Tamales, 933 E. Woodside Drive, Suite 102, 100 points.

Lily’s China Bistro, 1280 S. Carson St., 100 points.

Little Caesar’s Pizza, 1820 E. William St., 99 points. A garbage receptacle was found with its lid open and litter around it.

Los Caporales Supermarket, meat department, 1621 U.S. Highway 50 E., Suite G, 99 points. Pipes were leaking under the hand sink and at the faucet area of the three-compartment sink.

Slotworld, Betsy’s Cafe, 3879 U.S. Highway 50 E., 98 points. Floors were dirty in the kitchen by the trash containers, in the dishwashing room and around the ice machines. Various walls throughout the kitchen were dirty, especially around the hand sinks, in the dishwashing room. Weather stripping was needed at the back receiving door by the ice machines. There as a small round hole in the wall behind the ice machine. Shelf surfaces in the three-compartment sink and preparation room were dirty with food debris.

Taqueria La Salsa, 1946 U.S. Highway 50, 97 points. There was not a certified food handler on duty at the time of inspection.
