Toys for Tots news
The MCL High Desert Detachment, along with “The Lights of Christmas” program, are seeking support of the 2013 “Toys for Tots” drive. All donations stay in the community. The collection boxes are in many places around town; just look for the toys for tots poster or logo. Volunteers are needed to assist the Toys for Tots program, which is run strictly by volunteers.
Collection boxes are now in the stores such as Walmart in Fallon and Fernley, Kent’s, Walgreens in Fallon and Fernley, Fallon Auto Mall, Jeff’s Digitex, Dollar Tree, Verizon, The Slanted Porch, Total Fitness, Louie’s Dollar Store, UPS Store, and Big R.
Young and old, male or female are welcome to give whatever time they have available. The season extends through Jan. 1. Volunteers are also needed for Fernley.
Call 775-427-4054 or e-mail peko11@charter.net for information or to volunteer.

Please come and share in the good cheer!
