Fallon man pleads guilty to burglary

Here is a recap of District Court hearings on Tuesday.

Aaron Terrill Jones pleaded guilty to one count of burglary. According to the criminal complaint, Jones entered Walmart on June 25 with the intent to commit larceny.

He faces one to 10 years in prison and up to a $10,000 fine, although he is eligible for probation. Jones will be sentenced Feb. 25.

Michael Anthony Johnson’s arraignment for one count of possession of a controlled substance was continued until Jan. 7. He was arrested Nov. 7 for possessing marijuana.

His sentence ranges from one to four years in prison and a $5,000 fine or probation.

Robert Lee Beadle was sentenced for one count of conspiracy to commit home invasion, a gross misdemeanor.

He received a suspended sentence of 180 days in the Churchill County Jail and assessed $428 in court fees.

According to the criminal complaint, Beadle conspired with Debbie French on Nov. 22 to cut a window screen from Tamara Hughes’ residence and enter the home.

Michael John Grainer faces one count of driving under the influence, a third or subsequent offense, a felony.

According to the criminal complaint, he was arrested on July 27 and has two previous convictions in 2008 in Tennessee and in 2009 in Fallon. Grainer is allowed to apply for the DUI Diversion Program.

Should he be accepted to the program, his sentencing hearing will be continued until he completes or fails the program.

If Grainer is not accepted to the program or fails it, he faces one to six years in prison and between a $2,000 and $5,000 fine. He will be arraigned Jan. 7.

Ronald Thomas Austin pleaded guilty to driving under the influence, a third or subsequent offense, a felony.

His two prior arrests came in 2009 and 2011, both in Fallon.

Austin also can apply for the DUI Diversion Program. Should the application be rejected or he fail the program, Austin’s faces one to six years in prison and a fine between $2,000 and $5,000. He will be sentenced Feb. 25.
