Carson CityThe following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent unless proved guilty in court:THURSDAY• 12:01 a.m.: A 29-year-old Minden woman was arrested at the Carson City Jail after being transported from Douglas County on a Carson contempt-of-court warrant. Bail: $6,350.97• 11:20 a.m.: A 27-year-old Dayton woman was arrested at Adams and Fall streets on a Carson contempt-of-court warrant and a Carson failure-to-appear warrant. Bail: $712.• 6:21 p.m.: A Carson City man was arrested in the 500 block of East William Street on a failure-to-appear warrant. Bail: $1,000.• 10:06 p.m.: A 27-year-old Carson City man was arrested in the 1600 block of Medical Parkway on suspicion of arrest of probationer. Bail: $3,132.• 11:08 p.m.: A 26-year-old Reno man was arrested at South Carson and Stewart streets on a Reno failure-to-appear warrant. Bail: $765. • 11:57 p.m.: A 26-year-old Dayton man was arrested in the 1700 block of North Carson Street on a Dayton failure-to-appear traffic warrant. Bail: $1,441.FRIDAY• 4:47 a.m.: A 57-year-old Carson City man was arrested at Highway 50 East and Flint Road on suspicion of reckless driving, speeding 95 mph in a 55 mph zone and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle. The arresting deputy reported he was parked when a vehicle passed him at 72 mph in a 40 mph zone on Highway 50. The deputy activated his lights and siren, and tried to catch up with the 1960s Ford tow truck, which had its own emergency lights on, according to the arrest report.The tow truck continued to speed, at an estimated 95 mph in a 55 mph zone and abruptly pulled off the road near Flint Road and, after a brief conversation with the deputy, the driver was arrested. Bail was set at $986.Storey CountyThe following people were booked into the Storey County Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:WEDNESDAY• A 25-year-old Susanville, Calif., man was arrested on a misdemeanor Storey County warrant. Bail: $772.THURSDAY• A 22-year-old Virginia City man was arrested on a misdemeanor Carson warrant. Bail: $500.• A 24-year-old Dayton man was arrested on misdemeanor Carson and Storey county warrants.
