Carson CityThe following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent unless proved guilty in court:FRIDAY• 9:08 p.m.: Thomas Garretson, 54, of Carson City was arrested at Carson and John streets on suspicion of DUI and a parole and probation violation. No bail.• 10:26 p.m.: Lindsay Pulliam, 51, of Carson City was arrested at Table Rock and Northridge drives on suspicion of DUI and speeding. Bail: $1,234.SATURDAY• 12:41 a.m.: A Carson City man was arrested in the 300 block of Carson Street on suspicion of disorderly conduct. Bail: $242.• 1:38 a.m.: Julie Jones, 45, of Reno was arrested in the 100 block of East Telegraph Street on suspicion of DUI. Bail: $1,132.• 7:50 a.m.: Guy McManis, 49, of Carson City was arrested in the 2500 block of Clearview Drive on suspicion of DUI. Bail: $1,132.• 7:59 a.m.: A 28-year-old Carson City man was arrested in the 3200 block of Market Street on a Carson contempt-of-court warrant. Bail: $224.• 6:46 p.m.: Nicholas Samaras III, 29, of South Lake Tahoe, Calif., was arrested in the 500 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, possession of burglary tools and possession of drug paraphernalia, and on two Carson warrants, with bail set at $16,961. A deputy on the Special Enforcement Team received a tip leading to Samaras, who originally was arrested on the two warrants. Deputies found bolt cutters and a flashlight in his backpack when it was searched at the jail, according to the police report.• 7:49 p.m.: Heather Gonzales, 39, of Carson City was arrested in the 2000 block of Bordeaux Street on suspicion of battery domestic violence. Bail: $3,137.• 9:55 p.m.: A 23-year-old Carson City man was arrested in the 500 block of North Division Street on suspicion of disorderly conduct, affray and drunken pedestrian. Bail: $556.• 10:24 p.m.: Rex Martin, 55, of Carson City was arrested at 10th and Nevada streets on suspicion of DUI third offense, driving on a license revoked for DUI, violation of a suspended sentence and a left-turn violation. Bail: $22,386. SUNDAY• 1:22 a.m.: Noel Lenaburg, 23, of Carson City was arrested in the 900 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of DUI, speeding and driving on a suspended registration. Bail: $1,321.• 2:25 a.m.: Jose Cruz, 22, of Carson City was arrested at U.S. Highway 50 at Spooner Summit on suspicion of DUI and a probation violation. Bail: $4,137.• 4 a.m.: A 32-year-old Carson City man was arrested in the 200 block of East Winnie Lane on a Carson contempt-of-court warrant. Bail: $500.• 4:51 a.m.: Bernado Curt, 31, and Juan Pacheco-Garcia, 29, both of Carson City, were both arrested in the 200 block of East Winnie Lane on suspicion of affray, disorderly conduct, battery domestic violence and obstructing and delaying. Bail for each was set at $4,033.• 8:50 a.m.: A 20-year-old Carson City woman was arrested in the 700 block of Silver Oak Drive on suspicion of possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, no driver’s license in possession and unsafe U-turn. Bail: $786.• 12:40 p.m.: A 32-year-old South Lake Tahoe man was arrested at Stewart and Park streets on suspicion of no proof of insurance and failing to stop at a stop sign, and on a Tahoe failure-to-appear traffic warrant. Bail: $1,241.• 1:30 p.m.: Joseph Pruzzo, 49, of Turlock, Calif., was arrested in the 3200 block of Market Street on suspicion of battery domestic violence. Bail: $3,137.• 7:21 p.m.: Brian Sells, 51, of Carson City was arrested in the 1400 block of Stanford Drive on suspicion of assault on a peace officer, misuse of 911, disorderly conduct and interference with a peace officer with bail set at $5,654.According to a police report:Sells began yelling at an officer at 1408 Stanford Drive to get the deputy’s vehicle off his property. The officer told Sells he would be moving his patrol car, parked on the paved city street, as soon as he had finished and that Sells could not stand in his yard, shouting profanities through the neighborhood. Sells, who smelled strongly of alcohol, continued to yell at the officer before apologizing and going back into his residence.Sixteen minutes later, dispatchers notified the deputy that someone had called 911 to report an “abandoned police car.” Sells began to yell profanities a second time, then approached the officer with balled fists, his arms in a fighting position, according to the report. After refusing commands to stay back, the officer grabbed Sells’ right hand, turned him around and handcuffed him, having feared for his safety.• 8:28 p.m.: A 39-year-old Las Vegas man was arrested in the 3800 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of burglary. Bail: $20,000.• 10:18 p.m.: A 42-year-old Carson City man was arrested in the 3200 block of Imperial Way on a Reno violation-of-bail-conditions warrant. Bail: $1,050.MONDAY• 8:20 p.m.: A 22-year-old Carson City woman was arrested at the Carson City Jail after turning herself in on a Carson violation-of-a-suspended-sentence warrant.
