Nevada's State Railroad Museum says it's looking for volunteers who have a knack for customer service, sales and conversation.
No experience is necessary, and the museum will offer free training for those willing to put in at least a couple of four-hour shifts each month helping staffers and visitors.
Retail store clerks help shoppers, present merchandise, do inventory chores, answer telephone calls and field questions.
"We are always so grateful for people who are willing to give to the community and help visitors enjoy our Nevada treasures," said John Walker, the museum's storekeeper.
